This model is printed in 4 pieces and the Plunger is designed to work with flexible filaments. There are 4 files to print: the Plunger, Base, and Nozzle, and Rocket. The Plunger HAS to be printed in flexible filament (I used Flexible PLA by Ataraxia Arts), and I would recommend printing the rocket in flexible as well so it doesn't break or cause damage.
Printing, Assembly & Post Processing
FDM or Resin: FDM Scaling: Scalilng up should be fine, scaling down may affect the threads for the nozzle. Supports: No supports Nozzle Size I Used: 0.4 Infill/Perimeters: 3 Perimeters on the Plunger! For the other pieces, I used 2 perimeters and 10% infill. Layer Height: I used 0.2 layer height. Would probably be fine to use a high layer height (except plunger).
2/11/2022: Initial Upload
- To test this model I used Ataraxia Flexible PLA on both the Plunger (necessary) and the Rocket (help it not break but not NECESSARY)
- I designed the plunger to be printed with 3 walls on a 0.4 nozzle (the walls are 1.2 mm thick so if you use a 0.6 nozzle you can use 2 walls)
- At the time of writing this, I am redesigining our own rocket but for now you need to download the rocket from the provided link above on thingiverse!

- I have designed uploaded my own rocket for the design so its no longer necessary to use the one from Thingiverse.
- My rocket design has a sharper pointed tip so it should fly a little bit better.
