Ever wanted to be able to be able to eat your halloween candy while also burning it off while ALSO having a sick criminal costume prop? Fear not, your saviour (8th grade idiot), has returned to give you the sussy step tracker.

The Sussy Step Tracker, although not among us related, is a suspicious looking large ancle monitor complete with an OLED screen, step tracking capability, a blinking led, a speaker that beeps when you reach a goal and enough battery to last your whole trick or treating session

The Sussy Step Tracker uses an ultrasonic sensor to track height and therefore steps and an arduino MKR 1000 as its microcontroller. The tracker displays this information on a .96 inch i2c OLED that displays the sensors distance, your current goal and of course your step count. The tracker starts off with a goal of 100 steps then adds 100 and beeps every time you pass it.

Theoredically it shouls work on any microcontroller that supports i2c, outputting to a i2c display and the libraries: wire, adafruit_GFX and adafruit_ssd1306

INSTRUCTIONS. change the #define statements in the code to match your needs (e.g. change #define echoPin 8 to #define echoPin 69), replace the address 0x3C with your in the line "if(!display.begin(SSD1306_SWITCHCAPVCC, 0x3C)) { // Address 0x3D for 128x64" inside of the void setup statement with your displays i2c address (this can be found by using some i2c scanner code that can be found at https://playground.arduino.cc/Main/I2cScanner/). Finally connect the piezo and led to ground and their respective pins, the SPI and SDA pins for the display and the pins for the speaker. 3D PRINTING AND ASSEMBELY:

note: parts have been optimised for 3dprinting in mesh mixer. support may still be needed and applied tastefully when appropriate

print the strap (or for best results use velcro strap linked) and the leg mount of your choice with a flexible filament (the more flexible the better) and assemble with the instructions in the youtube video provided. when assembled secure with rubber bands (that fit in the slots on either side) or with adhesive. In fact if you have any problems with mounting just use heaping ammounts of hot glue.

IMPORTANT NOTE: PUT ELECTRONICS INSIDE BEFORE SOLDERING OR ASSEMBLING, HOT GLUE MAY BE REQUIRED FOR SOME COMPONENTS TO FIT. PLEASE WATCH THE YOURUBE VIDEO LINKED FOR ME POINTING AT A SCREEN SHOWING YOU WHERE THINGS GO CAUSE IM REALLY BAD AT EXPLAINGING IT WITH WORDS ON A SCREEN. I WOULD END UP BEING LIKE "SO THAT GOES THERE" BUT THERE WOULD BE NOTNIGN THREE BECAUSE THIS IS TEXT.

GUIDE TO USE: when the tracker first turns on you must raise your leg about an inch off the ground to calibrate the step height. then once the screen turns on walk like normal
