Original description: This is an acrylic hood and door for the E3d Motion System and Toolchanger platform. It turns the motion system frame into a fully enclosed chamber, useful for ABS printing and keeping the gubbin's a bit cleaner. The door and hood are hinged for easy access, with the doors completely removable for maintenance. This assembly is designed for 5mm clear acrylic that you will need to have laser cut. The remainder of the parts can be FDMed. For the acrylic cutting, you will need: 1x Acrylic Back 1x Acrylic Top 1x Acrylic Front 2x Acrylic Door 2x Acrylic Side From the order parts, you will need: 11 x Right Angle Fastener 2 x Corner Fastener 10 x Top Hinge Half ( to make 5 x hinges ) 2 x Alignment Bracket 2 x Door Hinge A & B 2 x Door Hinge A & B that you have mirrored 1 x Door Mag Latch 1 x Door Mag Latch that you have mirrored 1 x Lid Knob 2 x Door Knob 1 x Door Steady 2 x Mag Retainer 1 x Changer Loom Holder ( replaces the existing one ) In addition, you will need: 4 x 10mm x 2mm magnets for the door 1mm thick double sided tape to atick the door retainer to the platform floor M3 x 30mm bolts for the hinges M3 x 10mm bolts for the main fixings M3 x 12mm bolts for the lid hinge fixings 2x M6 x 10mm botls for the Alignment Bracket M6 nuts for the hinges M3 washers for all fixings, make the smooth side of every washer the surface that meets the acrylic Preferably some M3 nylon washers to fit between the hinge halves M6 T-slot fixings for the door hinges 2.5mm drill bit to prepare any holes needing to be threaded into 3mm drill bit to prepare any hinge halves that need an M3 bolt to rotate smoothly in ( these are the hinge halves that fix against the aluminium profile and half of the hinge halves on the lid )
