Had a tripod gathering dust and thought "Why not?"

Designed for the X8 RC, coupled with a PGYTech Tablet mount, holding a Galaxy Tab A 10.1, on an inexpensive tripod, with a custom sunshade (see Thing https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4632715 )

The RC snaps into the bracket, and the locking clamps secure the tablet mount to the assembly.

It's a different feel to flying, you can "hang" on the RC while your head is buried in the sunshade.

Plenty of room for your hands, the antennas can always point upward, and it rotates and pivots on the tripod head to accommodate changes in flight headings.

If you're a designer, just model up a tripod adapter in place of mine and glue it on instead.
