Discover my Moon Night Light, crafted with attention to detail for a serene and realistic moonlit ambiance!

Here's your guide to printing it, but remember, you'll need to buy a lamp socket and a bulb separately.

Moon (the shade):
Print it solid with no supports to maintain the delicate lunar surface details. Set the layer height at 0.2mm and the width at 0.4mm. Use concentric infill at 100%, or alternatively, set the wall thickness to about 100mm, which I find gives the best representation of the moon's surface. I'll upload the Cura Profile I used for printing. Feel free to import it, but ensure the layer width and height match, as they sometimes import inaccurately.

Plate and Cylinder:
These components are straightforward to print with any preferred profile and do not need supports.

Assembly:
Refer to the last image for the internal arrangement. The cylinder can be gently compressed to fit into the plate's hole.

Common Problems and Solutions:
Issue with Slicing the Moon Model: If you encounter a slicing error, slightly scale the model up, say to 100.1%, and try slicing again. Plate Doesn't Fit: If the plate isn't fitting properly, adjust its scale in the X and Y directions until it fits your needs.

Is it an ornament? Disco ball? Crystal ball? This 25cm diameter sphere prints in spiralized mode using only 220g of filament. That means you could print four of these giant spheres with a 1kg roll of filament!

Spiralized printing is great for translucent filament, and because it uses a relatively small amount of material for such a large object, don’t be afraid to use some of your specialty filaments to really make it pop!

For each sphere, you will need to print out two pieces. Be sure to use “spiralized” or “vase” mode and watch the first layer to be sure you have good bed adhesion. When in progress, this is a very delicate print. The ribbing on the outside of the sphere is there to provide some structural support but be careful not to bump it while is it printing!

Once printed, the pieces fit together loosely as in the video, so use a bit of glue if you want them held in place more securely. CA glues works well. Once glued, the sphere is surprisingly strong.

Here are some recommendations for spiralized printing:
- Use thick layer heights, 0.2mm or greater
- Set your “Bottom Layer” to 1
- Try using a skirt for bed adhesion, but if that is not working then try a brim. You will just have to remove the brim afterwards and that can be messy.
- If you get funny stringing on the top layer, try moving the z-seam alignment around

**Brick by Brick, Holiday Cheer!**

The Holiday season is getting longer every year, so it is beyond time to start decorating your home with festive 3D Prints! What better way to show off your Nerd-cred & decorate than a life size interlocking brick Christmas Wreath! Ok that name isn't catchy, how about “LEt'GO Holiday Wreath”, is that better? Yea, that is a better way to describe this Xmas decorating device. 

A friend requested me to print them one of these, and I wanted to tweak the designs I found online, so I started over from scratch. Some measurements were pulled from one design so I'm call this a “Remix” of the design on [Printables by Fuganater](https://www.printables.com/model/58424-giant-lego-wreath-no-supports-needed). 

Design has “Leaves” that interlock into each other to form the Wreath, and “Studs” that can be printed in whatever color you like to decorate it. All of these parts press fit onto each other tightly enough to not come apart accidentally but still be able to be disassembled easily. 

Assembled Wreath is approximately 10" (254mm) across. A larger version is coming soon. (Scaling can cause tolerance issues but you are welcome to do so as you see fit.)

**NOTE:** Proper tuning & extrusion accuracy is a requirement to produce a good fit. A Test print file is included to ensure you have good results before you start printing the full design. Print the Test Part & one of the “Studs” to check your fitment before diving into the full print!!

Another lamp! This is a pretty lengthy print, but worth it in my opinion. It uses the same shades and pendant light kits as my previous lamps.

The pendant light includes a locking ring that secures it to the base. To install, just insert the socket up through the bottom of the base, and screw on the locking ring to clamp it in place.

Note that you must **only use LED bulbs (9 watts max)** as traditional bulbs can get pretty hot and could cause damage to the plastic. I like these [multi color smart bulbs](https://amzn.to/47h8BVk) that I can control with my phone, but any standard 9W LED bulb will do.

**Supports**
Supports are needed on the base for the shoulder that holds the pendant light socket in place, as well as the opening for the cord. I used normal snug supports.

**Scaling**
I wouldn't recommend scaling this one since it perfectly fits the pendant light socket. 

**Orientation**
The base and shade should be right side up.

**Print Settings**
*I've included the 3MF if you want to use my settings.

10% concentric infill on the shade. If you use a concentric infill pattern on the whole shade, the supports that attach to the base will print without any infill. So I added a cylindrical modifier for the shade supports that uses a 15% grid infill pattern.

These vintage-style ornaments are designed for spiralized printing to maximize translucency and minimize material and print time. Download includes six different mix-and-match styles!

When printed with a 0.4mm nozzle, each ornament requires less than 8g of material. You could print over 125 ornaments with 1kg of filament! A great way to get the most out of your specialty (expensive!) filaments.

For each ornament, you will need to print out a “top” and “Bottom” file. Be sure to use “spiralized” or “vase” mode! You will need to open up the hole in the top by trimming the inside protrusion with a pair of clippers. See video for demo.

Here are some recommendations for spiralized printing:
- Use thick layer heights, 0.2mm or greater
- Set your “Bottom Layer” to 1
- Try using a skirt for bed adhesion, but if that is not working then try a brim. You will just have to remove the brim afterwards
- If you get funny stringing on the top layer, try moving the z-seam alignment around
