I present to you my latest project, a small box with a mechanical iris closure. All parts are 3D printable.
The project was created using Rhino 8 and printed on a Bambulab A1 Mini with Sunlu PLA filament and a resolution of 0.15mm/layer.
I recommend using PLA filaments with good layer adhesion - do not use eryone matte filaments or silk filaments - use good quality PLA
REMEMBER THAT ALL MY FILES ARE PROTECTED BY A CC LICENSE AND ARE NOT INTENDED FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES UNLESS YOU HAVE SUBSCRIBED TO A MEMBERSHIP PLAN ON THANGS - IF YOU USE MY 3D FILES FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES, YOU HARM MY WORK AND MY COLLABORATORS - DON'T DO IT!

I drive a little shuttle bus and collect fares. This would be great for collecting quarters - I could look and see that it was the right amount before dropping it into the hopper below. I might remix the bottom part to allow it to fit into a standard car cup holder, but you might want to offer that as an option. Or maybe create threads on the base and provide multiple container options that could fit on underneath.
Thank you for your interest, remixes are not allowed. I will consider releasing something similar in the future.
I would never share or sell anything that someone else created. The remix would only be for my personal use, I was simply suggesting that you might want to create that for distributing with your collection. This is a fantastic design, and prints very well.
