Filament Vase – Upcycled Design
Filament Vase – Upcycled Design
Short Description: A simple, support-free print that turns leftover filament ends into a structural, decorative vase. For filaments of 1.75mm Thickness
Full Description: This vase is designed to make use of those last few meters on a spool that usually go to waste. It uses the natural coil of the filament to create a bouncy, flexible structure held between two rings and a central column.
The top is sized to fit a large Starbucks cup, which makes it easy to hold water for small flowers and swap it out for cleaning. For longer stems, you can just place the whole assembly over a separate water container.
Highlights:
- Sustainable: Made specifically to upcycle filament offcuts.
- Modular: Sized for a standard large Starbucks cup or used as a sleeve for larger vases.
- Expandable: Includes a connector ring to stack units for extra height.
- Support-Free: No supports, no glue, and no post-processing required.
What’s Included:
- Central fluted column
- Large and small filament rings
- Vertical connector ring
- Filament size jig (to get the lengths right)
- Assembly guide
