Brain Gear Fidget Toy
You need: There are 2 versions of these files: the Spiral Gear Version (red in the pictures) and the normal Gear Version (pink in the pictures). Both work and assemble the same. Just choose which one to print.
12 Gears of one gear type 6 Connectors 24 Pins There is also an "All" File for both versions. It contains everything needed for a full assembly.
Print Settings: Use a brim for the gears.
Assembly: You can watch this video: https://youtu.be/02MwMpiip2s Or use the assembly PDF in the download. The gears should be connected via the connectors. Use the pictures as guidance.
Technical Data: The brain gear uses roughly 100g of Filament and takes 7 hours to print. The Filament I used are Fleck'n Fire Red Glitter and Cupid's Crush Metallic Pink both by Protopasta.

The download zip does not have the connectors in it except for the "ALL" file (which is too wide for my printer). (Could I suggest making the layout a bit more square instead of rectangular). It is just over the 220mm width of my printer (it works if I scaled it to 98%)).
Hey, Yea i forgot the conector. I just add it. I make the all plates for bambu size since they are the most common printer atm. If you use orca slicer you can always use rarrange get a configuration that fits your printer.
I have a Bambu Lab A1 that I'm printing on, so I use Bambu Studio for the slicer, not sure if you slicer will allow you to add a second plate like Bambu Studio does. If you can, you can move all the little pieces to the second plate and print them separately, luckily for me my Bambu comes with a 256mm plate. Hope this helps.
Seconding this. I like to use basic colors for pins and connectors. The All file is too big for my 220mm bed and I can't print the whole thing as separates like your other projects. Really excited to print it when I can!
amazing, which filament is the second pic please?
As soon as this print is done I will send this one to print. I need a new fidget to work with. :-) I do like to be able to separate the clips as well. Thank you for having them separate. I don't like printing with PETG because it messes with my nozzle. So I print way too many clips than I need so I don't have to print them again for a while. Is it printed in PLA entirely or are the clips printed in PETG or another strong filament?
