Buck the Wingless Duck // Rejected Animals
Buck the Wingless Duck is here to enjoy the springtime! He will keep you company, patient and oh so content. He cannot fly, but even if he could, he would stick around because you're pretty cool!
Printing Guidelines
Print using standard settings. Lower layer heights will help show off Buck's smooth featherless form. Little to no infill necessary... I used Lightning infill to represent Buck's thunderous confidence (and minimize filament usage). No supports necessary, but you may want to use a brim for the small parts to ensure bed adhesion. I also used seam-painting to run the seam along Buck's back and the bottom of his legs.
Two sizes available, print all the parts at 42mm or 84mm sizes. You'll want to print the 'Peepers' twice to give Buck stereo vision. Glue all the parts together with E6000, cyanoacrylate, or your preferred adhesive. 42mm Buck has some tiny parts so you may need tweezers and steady hands for clean assembly!
Photographed models were printed on the Bambu Lab X1-Carbon 3D Printer using Bambu Lab PLA Basic Sunflower Yellow and Elegoo Rapid PLA+ Black and White (Also on Amazon).**
