Realistic geodes lined with crystals!

Download includes “Full” and “Hemisphere” options in nine different sizes each. The “Hemisphere” models are open with the crystals exposed. They are the easiest to print. The “Full” models print as hollow forms lined with crystals inside. The “Full” version is more challenging to print and must be cracked open to reveal the crystals inside.

There are small holes in each file, one in the “Hemisphere” models and two in the “Full” models. These holes minimize the suction effect when printing and allow for post-processing drainage and washing. Ensure that you do not block these holes when placing supports. Once printed, you can paint over the holes with resin and cure with a handheld UV wand.

When printing the “Full” models you will also need to generate supports to the crystals inside. These supports can be removed after you crack open the crystal. When washing, force liquid through the two holes to ensure that the inner crystals are adequately cleaned.

Remember to wear eye protection when cracking open the geodes!
