Modular Vertical Lightsaber Wall Display
This modular display will allow you to hold two to as many lightsabers as you like. My display holds 25! Each section is bolted to each other using M3 x 16mm screws and nuts or you can glue it together if you prefer. There is a flat section all the way around the inside for mounting of sticky backed LED strip lighting. I used 24v Blue LED's and a 3 amp 24v power supply. You can probably get away with 27 lightsabers max with 5m of LED's. I would not suggest putting leds on the ends as they are too bright.
There are two wall mounting holes on each of the end panels, I used drywall screws. There are middle sections with and without mounting holes. If you make a long version, I put holes in ever third middle section. If you don’t have enough holes, light will escape behind the display on the wall.
I attached the brackets on to the back plate using Starbond CA Glue. There are two versions of the brackets, one version has a hole in it which allows the lightsaber to be displayed extended.
One side panel has a hole for a panel mount power plug. Just solder a short wire from the plug to the LED strip, remembering the shorter terminal on the plug is positive.
You can find the horizontal version of this display here.
