an additional note here ... this appears to be a filament specific issue, I have tried the updated model with better tolerances and it's still fused. I tested the same filament with a different model (cutie turtles) that have tight tolerances but I know works well with other filaments and this filament also fused the joints in that model. I will be testing a different filament and report back ... will leave this post up as emphasis that some filaments will not produce the desired outcome.
verified ... my fused pieces problems is filament specific, 4 different Bambu PLA matte filaments all worked properly.
My print with Creality K1 is bound together. Thoughts on settings I should look at?
I would scale it up a little maybe 110-120% this should increase the tolerance.
my limited experience with this model is that my filament chosen initially (a High Speed PLA+ pastel rainbow) was the culprit .. a different filament (Bambu PLA matte) worked perfectly.
Having the same issue on Creality KE
This is fantastic! A four-part, print-in-place sliding fidget made of hexagons sounds both fun and functional. Love that it prints without supports!
😁🙏
Are people having problems with this since the little T shaped connectors aren't attached to the hexagons? Or are they close enough where the printer tolerances will adhere them together?
