About 2 years ago I designed this dice tower in Tinkercad because I wanted a support-less dice tower to print that would also allow you to watch the dice as they went through the tumbler. I've been wanting to make an improved version for a while and, this time using the Tinkercad code blocks, I finally got around to making that improved version!

This dice tower is still support-less but is both an aesthetic and functional improvement over the old tower. The steps are more defined to facilitate more tumbling of the dice while being slanted to make sure nothing gets stuck halfway down. One of the pieces of feedback I got on the old version was the lip was too shallow on the tray, which is something I have fixed in this version as well.

There is a regular version which is appropriately sized for standard dice, and the small tower is sized for mini dice (~10mm or smaller) ONLY.

This tower does not need supports but it does do quite a lot of bridging so make sure your printer's bridge settings are up to snuff. However it is easier bridging than the old version at least.

Recommended settings: - 0.2 mm layer height - this is important for the hexagon detailing in the tray - 4 walls - 10% infill - ironing on with concentric pattern - this is a recommendation, and also very dependent on your printer, but for the tray versions, I find it is very helpful in getting that nice flat finish to keep your dice landing properly.

Also fun fact: The very first roll I made on my first prototype print was a nat 20.
