Yoda

Yoda

This Yoda figure is easy to print, requiring no supports, MMU/AMS, or glue and is a blast to assemble! It functions the same as my other BIG BRICK models, which are all derived from my base model: Generic Figure.

Check out my other STAR WARS BIG BRICKS:

Kylo Ren

Boba Fett

C-3PO

Luke Skywalker

Printing Instructions:

  • STLs already in suggested printing orientation
  • No supports needed
  • I would always recommend using a brim if you're not certain about the bed adhesion of any of these parts. In particular, the hands and arms can cause issues if there is poor adhesion.

Filament Used In Pictures

This is a list of the filament I used while making this model. I receive no money from you clicking these links, and there may be better choices. This is just what I had available and what I thought looked good! Hope it helps :)

  • 3D Printed Parts [Filament]
    • Body
      • 1x - Head Assembly [Muted Green]
      • 1x - Torso [Army Beige]
      • 1x - Arms (brim may be helpful, connector portion may print uncleanly, this is okay!)[Army Beige]
      • 1x - Hands (may be helpful to add a brim)[Muted Green]
      • 1x - Waist Assembly [Army Beige]
      • 1x - Legs [Army Beige]
      • 1x - Torso and Waist Inserts [Wood Brown]
    • Accessories
      • 1x - Lightsaber Handle [Silver]
      • 1x - Lightsaber Blade [True Green]

  • Tools (ALL OPTIONAL)
    • Super Glue (for holding figure in one position/pose if desired)
    • Small Allen Wrench (to twist on part of waist assembly)

Assembly Instructions:

Each of my BIG BRICK models are built from the same base model and the majority of the assembly is the same for each of them. You can find detailed assembly instructions for my models on that base model's designer post here: Generic Figure. You can find all other instructions relating to this model specifically below. Enjoy!

Head: The head assembly is straightforward - just slide the two ears into the head before placing the head on the body. They are exchangeable, so just make sure you put them on the right side, and the right way up! Once fully inserted, the surfaces from the head and ears should flow smoothly together.

Torso & Waist: The two brown pieces just press-fit into the torso and waist pieces. They should be a decently snug fit.

Lightsaber: Simply screw the blade into the handle! Some people have mentioned breaking the blade while doing this if the threads are tight - just be careful and go slow if you're concerned.

Yes! I actually want to redo Yoda's head so I will most likely be completely redoing this model to smooth it out and add eyes as well. This was one of the first models that I did and it is admittedly not as good as most of my other ones.

Hey Jeffrey! I will be uploading the Darth vader one in about a week and a half (next Thursday night)! I wanted to make a few tweaks before reuploading it to make it better :)
