Rebel Trooper

Rebel Trooper

This Rebel Trooper figure is easy to print, requiring no supports, MMU/AMS, or glue and is a blast to assemble! It functions the same as my other BIG BRICK models, which are all derived from my base model: Generic Figure.

Printing Instructions:

  • STLs already in suggested printing orientation
  • No supports needed
  • I would always recommend using a brim if you're not certain about the bed adhesion of any of these parts. In particular, the hands and arms can cause issues if there is poor adhesion.

Filament Used In Pictures

This is a list of the filament I used while making this model. I receive no money from you clicking these links, and there may be better choices. This is just what I had available and what I thought looked good! Hope it helps :)

Required Parts/Tools for Assembly:

  • 3D Printed Parts [Filament]
    • Body
      • 1x - Head [Army Beige]
      • 1x - Torso [Charcoal Black]
      • 1x - Shirt [Gray Blue]
      • 1x - Belt [Earth Brown]
      • 1x - Belt Buckle [Silver]
      • 1x - Chest [Army Beige]
      • 1x - Arms (brim may be helpful, connector portions may print uncleanly, this is okay!) [Gray Blue]
      • 1x - Hands (may be helpful to add a brim) [Army Beige]
      • 1x - Waist Assembly [Grey]
      • 1x - Legs [Grey]
    • Accessories
      • 1x - Helmet - White Parts [Cotton White]
      • 1x - Helmet - Visor [Charcoal Black]
      • 1x - Antenna [Silver]
      • 1x - Gun Assembly [Charcoal Black]

  • Tools (ALL OPTIONAL)
    • Super Glue (for holding figure in one position/pose if desired)
    • Small Allen Wrench (to twist on part of waist assembly)

Assembly Instructions:

Each of my BIG BRICK models are built from the same base model and the majority of the assembly is the same for each of them. You can find detailed assembly instructions for my models on that base model's designer post here: Generic Figure. You can find all other instructions relating to this model specifically below. Enjoy!

Helmet: This is the most intricate, and fun part of the assembly! Hope you enjoy it :) Start by inserting the front locking pin into the base of the helmet through the bottom. It should fit snug and look like the second picture below when finished.

Next, insert the rear locking pin in the same manner.

Before sliding the top of the helmet on, insert the antenna into it's base and slide this antenna assembly down in the side slot on the bottom of the helmet.

Now you can slide the top of the helmet onto this assembly! Position it forward relative to the bottom assembly, as seen in the first photo below, and ensure that both dovetail pins slide into place as you slide it back, as seen in the second photo below.

The last white piece that goes in caps off the back of the helmet to make it all look flush.

Now you can slide on the visor, which should very satisfyingly click into place!

Torso: The torso assembly is pretty straightforward - the four different inserts simply press into the torso as seen in the picture!

Weapon: There are two dovetail pins included with the gun. I recommend sliding the longer one into one half of the gun, then slide the other half of the gun onto this pin until both halves are aligned. Finish by inserting the shorter pin into the handle of the gun.
