Boba Fett

Boba Fett

This Boba Fett figure is easy to print, requiring no supports, MMU/AMS, or glue and is a blast to assemble! It functions the same as my other BIG BRICK models, which are all derived from my base model: Generic Figure.

Printing Instructions:

  • STLs already in suggested printing orientation
  • No supports needed
  • I would always recommend using a brim if you're not certain about the bed adhesion of any of these parts. In particular, the hands and arms can cause issues if there is poor adhesion.

Filament Used In Pictures

This is a list of the filament I used while making this model. I receive no money from you clicking these links, and there may be better choices. This is just what I had available and what I thought looked good! Hope it helps :)

Assembly Instructions:

Each of my BIG BRICK models are built from the same base model and the majority of the assembly is the same for each of them. You can find detailed assembly instructions for my models on that base model's designer post here: Generic Figure. You can find all other instructions relating to this model specifically below. Enjoy!

Colored Accents: All of the accent pieces are simply press fit into the main body components. They should all fit snugly and should hold in place. I used a black sharpie to color the mythosaur on the left-hand pauldron.

Jetpack: To assemble the jetpack, start by sliding the jetpack mount over the neck of the torso before the head has been attached. Make sure the L-shape of the mount is facing down over the model's back.  Once that is completed, simply slide the jetpack down onto the mount. This must be done before sliding the helmet on.

Helmet: This is probably the most tricky part of the assembly, but should still go together really nicely! Start by sliding the red visor piece down onto the base of the helmet, this should be a nice/smooth fit - be careful as the visor can be fragile in certain areas.

IMG_5682.jpgOnce the visor has been inserted, you can now slide the top of the helmet on. Make sure it is in the correct orientation - this should be a snug fit and might be difficult to remove.

The last step is to slide the rangefinder down into the side of the helmet into the provided hole. Make sure it is seated completely, but don't press to hard as you could bend/break it. That's it! (I just used a black sharpie to color in the visor itself)

Weapon: There are two dovetail pins included with the gun. I recommend sliding the longer one into one half of the gun, then slide the other half of the gun onto this pin until both halves are aligned. Finish by inserting the shorter pin into the handle of the gun.

Cape: Use the cape template to trace onto a piece of fabric or felt. Cut it out and align the two holes onto the neck of the model before attaching the head. You may also just be able to print the template and use the print as the cape, but I have not done this.
